The Report and Accounts represent the period of trading from 12 May 2006 to 31 December 2006 and reflect the period since we implemented the management buyout to involve the directors, senior managers and long serving staff in the interests of the Group.
The year can be characterised as a period of ongoing succession planning and organic growth of our operational subsidiaries. It is pleasing to note the growth at both John Doyle Construction and Ibex Interiors, the strong performance at Blythewood and to welcome our new management team at Bell.
Our steady growth has been accompanied by a continuing development of our environmental, sustainability and social responsibilities in response to both the global landscape and the industry's need to attract skills for the future.
I believe the foundations for the future are now well prepared for our steady expansion based upon excellent relationships with our repeat and growing client base.
As ever, our clients, staff, workforce and suppliers remain our key assets and for that we thank them all.
